Young Soljaz Genre: Holy Hip Hop

This fantastic trio consists of three young men who are proud to be in the army of the Lord. Enlisted and ready for combat, Justin Dean, Isaiah Johnson and Darius Kearse take the stage like little pro’s. Neva skeered to show their love and passion for Christ these young men captivate their audience with their boldness and confidence.

Justin Dean was born to Bryant and Cherylon "Perky" Dean. He is an A/B Honor Roll Student and has been inducted into National Jr. Beta Club at Greenbrier Elementary. Justin has been recognized for Greenbrier Terrific Kid Award Winner, Principal's Award at Faith Christian Academy and Music and Science Award Recipient. He is a member of Carolina Cubs USSSA/AAU Travel Baseball Team and has played Center Fielder and Short Stop. His team was ranked #1 in SC for 2007 Season and finished #4 in Nationals for 2007.

Justin enjoys swimming, reading, writing and playing video games with his friends and younger sister, Carrington. He aspires to be a singer or baseball player when he grows up. In either field, he intends to involve himself in the business aspect of his career.

Isaiah Johnson- Born to Pastor and First Lady Johnson in Greenville, SC. This rising 6th grader will attend Hillcrest Middle School this coming Fall.

This talented 11 year old enjoys reading, drawing, science and basketball. He has enjoyed a budding career doing voice overs for radio with organizations and companies such as MLK Dream Weekend and Jubilee Realty (as Xavier).

He is a member of the VBOBC Step Team; he works with the Sound and Media Ministry and is an active participant in children's church and Life Institute. He is the big brother to 6 year old Joshua K. Johnson. Today, Isaiah hopes to follow in his father's footsteps and aspires to be a preacher claiming...'I am going to be the next pastor of Valley Brook Mommy"! He also wants to be a basketball player, entrepreneur and civil rights leader. Regardless of what he decides to do in his future career, it is clear that his light will shine.

Darius Keshaun Kearse, a native of Greenville, South Carolina was born to Don H. and Yasmin N. Kearse on March 12, 1997. A rising 6th grader, Darius has received many awards for perfect attendance, the honor roll and more. Has played baseball for the Mauldin Rec. dept and basketball for Upward.

Darius greatest interest is writing holy hip hop music, drawing, and sports. He has completed the model for his own shoe company in which he designs his own tennis shoes and is in the process of getting a copyright and patent for his business. Known for his compassionate spirit and mannerism Darius is the proud brother of one brother, Donte, two sisters Shaquetta andAmber and one nephew Omari.

These Young Soljaz are great examples for the youth of today proclaiming that they are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, they have a genuine love for God and for his people.

There is NO shame in their game. These young men are focused on walking out their destiny and fulfilling their God given purpose on the Earth.
